Highlights: Longest wooden Jetty in Australia @ 1.6 km jetty. Crabbing, caught 23 blue/sand crabs.

Lowlights: Salt & Pepper squid at the local pub. It must have been thawed out a couple of days back. For a town famed for their blue crabs, the menus was a bit like on that show ‘Ramseys kitchen. Friendly service, but you need to be a local.

Norm was very happy to loan some crab nets and trolley for us to go crabbing. First day Kat caught 3 by hand!, but they weren’t keepers. Next day, after stating on a low tide, an hour later, they were practically jumping in the nets. Caught 23. Yummmmmmmy dinner.

3 days of over 40 degrees.

PS.

WP on mobile devices has a lot of refining to do, it us very clumsy

iPads & iPhone

Well, my theory of using the iPads as an educational tool have failed terribly.

It is now a discipline to!

We have restricted the girls to using them for an hour while we are driving or when they are blogging (plus using Pages while they are not using WP (WordPress)), otherwise the only thing they want to do is Minecraft or Doodle camera.

iPhone 5 with my Koganmobile plan is outstanding and generally Hotspots really well. I connect 2 iPhones 2 iPads and a Laptop to the www with no worries. Speed is pretty good as well (considering I am used to a bidgilion MB per second).

I was hoping to be able to integrate Photostream, WordPress, Hotspot, iPhone & iPads seamlessly, to no avail.

On the road Photostream is quite hopeless, it breaks up and says the the stream is no longer available when trying to synch it with the iPads.

Once I am in controlled environment (caravan park with power) I will try to stream something so I can update photos from the iPhone and the iPads director to WP easily

Adelaide here we come!

Last time I came here was 22 yeas ago.
Not changed much, now it has some grass as oppose to gravel.

Incredible views perfect place.

Girls are loving it and are happy to absorb maths and reading as fun.

We will be leaving tomorrow to get new tyres in Adelaide.

At last hopefully we will have proper power and Internet. I will post some photos the

Stringybark Campground, Deep Creek, SA

Fantastic bush camp with heaps of Kookaburras.
Flushing toilets and hot showers.
Stayed 1 night. Tried to pay at the Rangers office, but no facilities. Woohoo! I’ll phone them tomorrow.

Got first flat tyre. Boohoo!

Will have to go to Adelaide and buy new tyres. Puncture is Bout an inch in length.

Still no proper access to the Internet, I’ll post some photos in a couple of days

Robe

Well, after an 8hr drive, we made it to Robe (twice).

First we stopped for a few groceries and an hour later to stay for 2 nights.

Wrights Bay, as stunning as it is, the camping ground had no shower, pit toilets, was flat as a tack with about 60 km winds.

The 60km winds was the decider. We just spent 2 nights at Port Fairy in 43 km winds.

we are staying at

Bushlands Holiday Park.

P.s. blogging from an iPhone is crap. I’ll post some piccys when I can connect the laptop
